Passages: Romans 1-7
Big Idea: Everyone is a sinner, but God makes us right with him by grace through faith in Jesus—not by our own good works.
Ages: 8-11
Ten lessons exploring Romans chapter 1 to 7.
In the book of Romans Paul lays out the foundation of the gospel by moving from humanity’s problem to God’s solution in Jesus and the transformed lives that follow.
Romans 1–7 teaches that all people are sinful by nature and unable to save themselves. God, in his sovereignty and grace, provides salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We are justified by faith alone, not by works, and are united with Christ, which leads to a new life of growing obedience. Even as believers, we depend fully on God’s grace every day. Leaders should consistently point children to God as the one who saves, changes hearts, and sustains his people.
